Catawba Farms, located in Newton, NC, is expanding its product line to kombucha and jun. The established wine company requested new label designs, packaging, and a marketing items.
An original typeface, Waltuch, was designed as a main component to bring variety to the existing products while honoring the company's founder who the typeface is named after. The characters were organically designed to reflect the organic ingredients from the farm used in the production of the drink. Bringing unusual pairings into a tasty drink, the naming convention modeled the ingredients used along with graphically reduced kombucha scoby. The color palette of the drinks reflects the main ingredients used.
A product display was created to be placed in restaurants and wine shops. This display conveys a healthy lifestyle with the original tagline, happy, healthy, fresh, cheers. The display is paired with the 16 oz bottles to complete the design by showcasing the new product for customers
