UpSkill is an app designed to improve grammar, vocabulary, and spelling skills. The app’s purpose allows users to take quick lessons and build these skills. The logo implies the user’s ability to elevate their communication skills. The color choice is an orange to red gradient to signify the user’s constant evolution of improving their skills in these areas. The user-friendly interface is easy to navigate, and the unique color scheme allows the app to be distinguishable in the marketplace. The interface evolved from rough sketches to wire frames and prototyping. To maximize the user experience, user testing was part of the design process to ensure easy of navigation.
As part of the design, icons were created to navigate the user and expand the brand. Prototyping was part of the process and the user feedback was taken to improve the digital design of the app. Personas were created as part of market research to guide the app's purpose and design.
